In a sign of the times, it is now possible to buy a waterfront condominium in Chicago for less than $100,000. Foreclosed and short sale distressed waterfront condominiums are being offered for sale under $100,000 in the City of Chicago in increasing numbers. Sometimes these are condos with relatively high association fees and so the only way to get them sold is to sicount the sales price to make the overall cost affordable. Surprisingly, however, some foreclosed and distressed waterfront condos have very affordable association fees and real estate taxes. Smart real estate investors have learned that there is great value in buying distressed and foreclosed condos in Four Lakes Village of Lisle. Rental units go quickly in the complex which features four swimming pools, a local pub, and one of the area's only ski and snowboarding hills complete with night skiing and snowmaking. I guess Buy Owner couldn't sell their own building in Oak Brook IL as a FSBO. The office building located at 610 Enterprise Dr. is scheduled for Sheriff's sale in Dupage County on March 17th, 2011. Maybe they should have hired a Realtor to get the job don for them.
